    Hi guys,

Just saying that tomorrow I’ll be running ‘Tussle near Trumpton’ game at SELWG.

The war is coming towards its first crescendo. After months of disorganised opposition, the opponents of King Edward have united under the Banner of Prince Albert and have prepared to take the fight to the Fascists. Forces in the south of the country have united under the command of General Atlee. The Army of the Parliamentary Coalition (colloquially known as Atlee’s Army) has marched north towards London. The Southern Armies, held in countless sieges of Anglican strongholds, scrambled to halt the advance of the new army. The two sides have made contact in countryside near the sleepy town of Trumpton, leaving the County split between the two sides.

Tussle Near Trumpton is a skirmish game using our Home Brewed rules, “Tea and Tommy Guns”. The game is card based, using a 2-tiered system – Order cards, which are the basic methods of game-playing, and Chance cards, which allow for anything from A visit from General Melchett to the arrival of German Paratroopers. The players will also have access to a wide range of support options. The Game also features several roaming militia units from the County, including the erstwhile Trumpton Firemen. Expect to see Captain Flack and his men feature prominently.

Of course, the most important feature of this game is its use of free tea as a bribe reward!

    Hope to see you there.
