Thanks, I’ve only discovered Rule the Waves recently and this looks like a tabletop version of that game.
Nice! Rule the waves is great. The ship design in Shipyard is much simpler and more abstracted than RTW, with the focus being more on testing your designs out in combat than the nitty gritty of specific turret positions.
For example the ship building rules are about 4 pages long, while the combat rules fill out the other 28 pages. The idea is that you can quickly design a fleet before a game, in 10 – 20 minutes.
