Mr Steve got his new Tiny Wargames mat out together with his equally new collection of Newline Designs Sikh War figures to put on the second of the four games played at this months meeting of the DWG.

If you would like to know more about the game then just follow the link to the club blog

Very good to see and lovely toys.

I do the Sikh Wars in 15mm, it’s a fun period to play.  Have you read Sidhu’s two books on the wars.

Thanks , its always nice to get the first game of a new period out on to the table and I have started painting up the next wave.

Yes I have read both of them and two very different books in my opinion ,I intend to write a brief review of them both over on my friends blog in the near future. I thought they were both very good , if I had one wish then I would like to see book one re-written in the same style as book two.

Sometimes for writers it’s a learning curve and there’s always the need for the break through book.  I’m half way through a review of book 2 myself.  I look forward to reading your one when it appears.
