Can anyone suggest a source for water slide decals of British RAF type “D” (post WWII) roundels?
I’m working on a few jets, and have a hard time finding a source for decals.
Thanks,
irishserb
That’s a toughie. Almost everyone that does decals for 1/100 stops at WW2 for Brits, though I have seen 1 set of “pale” type D in 1/100. Even Falklands era decals usually only have the 2 color low-viz. You may have to do them yourself or get someone to go custom if you don’t want to use 1/144 scale sheets.

These are of various scales, not waterslide.
These might be 15mm, I think they are waterslide.

you could always try Miscmini in the USA see if he got anything off the peg or give him the size you want and he will print them for you
Thanks guys. You’ve given me some hope at least.
I’m realy trying to avoid making them, as the paper that i used to use is no longer available, plus, working with a new printer, so I’d have to re-work out all of the bugs.
Just wanted to share that Miscmini.com came through for me and added British type “D” raoundels, French, and Soviet Cold war decals to their site at the following link:
I bought a couple sets of each, and they are very nice. And, service was outstanding also.
Now that’s service!
