Hi all,
With the completion of the Provincial de Guadix militia infantry regiment I have finished the six battalions of infantry in General Portago’s Division at Talavera,
The Guadix Regiment were in the war right from the start with Spanish success at Bailen in 1808. The survivors from those heady days to Talavera were true veterans in every sense of the word.

Lovely job on an unfairly overlooked army!
Cheers guys thanks for your comments. Sorry for not replying earlier but we’ve had no internet for 24 hours thanks to someone damaging the fibre cable locally.
I plan to build more Spanish units over time as I am starting to really appreciate the intense fervour in these troops that kept them coming back again and again after each defeat and getting the occasional win. Not only that but you can have a lot of fun just working out what they might have looked like.
