    I finished painting up some 6mm ‘Alt-History’ Polish Cold War armour whilst listening to this just now. I like the idea Sparker, ideal for listening to whilst painting (makes a nice change from The Jam which I always seem to end up listening to – must be an attached memory thing!).

    My only gripes would be: No mention of Fist Full of Tows rules, and you did not go into the benefits of 6mm gaming but everything else was spot on – I’m off onto Amazon trying to buy Chieftains now.

    Pissing off the wife with this now. It’s actually forced her out of the room. Interesting. I’m liking it though, and that’s the main thing. Podcasts like this really are perfect to paint to; I got a hell of a lot of painting done listening to Sam Mustafa’s podcasts, and despite having only a very general interest in his rules periods, I found them really good listening.

    I’d missed that T-64 book release – must get. Another thing I must get is CWC. I must be the only modern gamer who’s never played them.

    Thanks guys for all the positive comments. I’m glad more people are actually listening whilst painting – I don’t really think the content stands on its on under primary focus – definitely background noise at this stage! Particularly pleased some Cold War stuff got painted, looking forward to seeing the alt history Polish armour!

    I sympathise mate – I can only chain myself to the painting desk for hours on end if I have something to listen to – any old crap will do – hence my podcasts!
