I recently completed two Plastic Soldier Company Halftracks for the long-winded Stalingrad project.

There’s more pictures on the blog as usual:

Nicely done. I like the stowage on the sides. I have a couple of armour fast 1/72 waiting to be made up, but they do not have those sort of extras.

Thanks Norm! I love my stowage, I do! The PSC kits come great stowage for the halftracks, I also have a set of their German stowage, which has too many tank commander figures for my liking, but the rest of the set it great! Reiver Castings do some excellent sets of 20mm stowage if you are looking for it!

Thanks, I think if I am going to be doing 20mm, investing in stowage will make a difference. Other than that I like the Armourfast stuff.

    Abwehrschlacht:

Very nicely done half tracks. Nicely painted, dry-brushed and weathered. Keep up the great work and one day the Stalingrad project will be finished and you can move on to Kursk!

    Cheers and good gaming.

Thank Rod! The Stalingrad project is coming to a close, there are only a few tanks and guns to finish now, so not long!

I actually already have some figures and tanks for a scenario during the Kursk offensive, the battle of Verkhopenye, on the 8th of July 1943, there is an AAR when we last played the scenario on my blog:

    Abwehrschlacht:

Very interesting AAR’s – I read the Kursk re-fight and the Soviet Hammer AAR. Good stuff! Cheers and thanks for posting this stuff.
