I ramble on a bit about the process of revisiting Star Fleet Battles in miniature in a blog post. It is located at:

SFB used to be a big part of my gaming, and after decades, am finally re-starting my pursuit of gaming it in miniature.
Thanks for looking,

Nice collection you have, there.
In college, my friends and I used to play loads of Star Fleet Battles. After college, it was pushed to the wayside. I recently picked up Federation Commander, hoping that the easier game play would appeal to my current group of friends, but nobody is interested.
I drop have picked up Federation Commander and a found a couple of people who as vaguely interested.
I have even been stocking the starter sets in the UK to try and raise the profile a little.
Sadly my dealings with Steve Cole at ADB have shown him to be a complete a-hole which has put me off supporting the game further….
But FC is a fun game and easier to play than SFB
