Sticky-ing Topics?

I was wondering if people had any particular objection to me stickying a topic?
That, for those that don’t know, means the topic in question would always be near the top of the forum.

As it stands the ones at the top are those with the most recent reply.
But some really popular/useful topics may have fallen off the front page.

Currently there are some sticky topics:

I am only thinking the more generic chatty ones, like the what is on your painting desk type ones.

Possibly useful to have a product sticky on some pages so’s that peep can ‘add to’ for mini’s and terrain stuff, not for chit chat though, maybe same for resource and reference material.

Dunno really, run it up the flagpole and see who salutes..

Why not. Many forums do that.

It just means that you’ll have to decide which topics you want to stick(y?) …and it’s always arbitrary …so it’s more responsability and more work for you
