ParticipantSorry for the late notice.
Lincombe Barn WS are holding a wargamers TTS this Sunday instead of our regular Reveille show.
This will be slightly smaller than our usual events as we are only using the 2 main halls, but that still gives us room for nearly 40 tables!
We are fully booked for sellers & unfortunately there isn’t a B&B standOpen to the public 10.00 – 12.30. Public entry is £2.00 or Early Bird tickets from 9.30 at £4.00
Hot & cold refreshments available.
The sale will be followed by a free gaming session so please stay on for the afternoon
address is Downend Folk House, Lincombe Barn, Overndale Rd, Bristol BS16 2RW
Thanks
Craig

ParticipantGood to see you again Craig. A big thank you to you and everyone at the club and those attending . My first wargames event since the current unpleasantness started.
I hope it went well from a commercial point of view and that we can get a little more back to normal next year.
Good game from John as well.
Cheers, Guy

ParticipantI had a planned game with friends out of town so was unable to attend. As Guy said, I hope it went well for all concerned.

ParticipantGuy, it was good to see you yesterday & Steve, shame you couldn’t make it but thanks for your thoughts.
Numbers wise we were around 2/3 our usual visitors, which though a little disappointing wasn’t unexpected & probably a little better than other shows (Salute 50% usual figures – or so I’ve read). Interestingly we had a steady flow of visitors throughout the morning rather than the usual initial flood through the door first thing.
Positive notes:
All the tables were taken. We had one seller who had to pull out the day before but we managed to let the table on the day. Compared to other recent shows that seems exceptional.
Although the door numbers were down they still ate all the food available!
The number staying on in the afternoon games session was the highest we have ever had so thanks to all who stayed.
There were some great bargains to be had as prices ‘softened’
Hopefully we will be doing it all again next May/June & Reveille will be back in its usual format next November.
On a slightly different topic the Avon IPMS show should be back next year on 7/8/22.
More info on all these events to follow.
Thanks
Craig

ParticipantI wish I could have attended the show Craig but family commitments had priority, I am glad it was well supported.
