Saw this movie today. Didn’t expect much of it since it was labled as drama.
It’s about a Marine officer returning the remains of a Marine to his home town.
It turned out to be much better than I expected and got me doing light research into the proceedures from frontline to family.
I gave them plenty handful of salt and artistic liscence but the proceedures still intrigued me. Very interesting how since then they’ve switched to using private jets instead of riding as cargo. I still think they should have bared media access to the process though (they’ve allowed access since 2009), as a sign of respect.
