    Tough going for the French! It appears that having only a few units per side, means a failed dice roll can have quite an impact on the outcome of a game. I noticed that when I tried smaller games with rules designed for company sized or larger engagements. Also the morale in the WRG rules would be harsh for under strength units and getting to the 1/2 or 2/3rds mark won’t take much.

    But it has been interesting following your games and I want to do something very similar.

    Thanks – I have found it interesting to play; I must have done at least half-a-dozen pint-sized campaigns and they have always been a lot of fun, even if the rules being used do allow the possibility of the odd quick walkover victory – just hard on the French to get a few in a row!!
