Yes. In retrospect, I have not really modified Tank on Tank, I have modified Brigade Commander with a new combat system and the activation system from the “Hammer” series. So I guess I should call it Brigade Commander: Tank on Hammer: Central Front.

It played well, I am going to try to scale it up next to a Brigade versus a division-sized attack led by a TR and an MRR (BTR) on a ~15km frontage and see how it goes. Still on the wide end for the Soviets, but not unreasonable.

    “Central Brigade Hammer” ? 😀

You can probably excuse a lot of frontage questions with “its 3 weeks into the fighting and everyone is starting to look at their available reserves and their maps of ground to cover and getting kind of nervous”.

I will do at least once is a Nato Battalion on a 5 km frontage and run a two regiment wide Divisional attack against it.  Now THAT would be good for the first few days of the war.  And very high pucker factor for the NATO player.  Oh yeah, and the Soviets has 80 – 100 artillery tubes per km in the breakthrough zone…

The full on “The balloon just went up, go go go!” scenario.

    For inspiration

Wow, now I am ready! When I was in high school and my best friend and I played our homemade 1 counter = 1 platoon game, we’d play the soundtrack to The Hunt for Red October over and over again.

I think I am going to take an intermission for a week and upgrade some of my terrain, I have 4 industrial building hexes to paint up.  Then I am thinking of doing the 2 MRR wide attack, then maybe switch gears and use some of my Germans (FRG flavored) that have never hit the table.
