Bad dice are always an element to contend with, Withers no doubt was quite ill on the day!
The typo did’t help though. I have a couple of boardgames on Shiloh and each has a first day scenario, which I think is the one that most gamers will go for, due to playing time and interest.
A nice AAR Vincent but the Dice Gods were certainly not with you during the game. We’ve played this before and only ever did the first day. At the end we looked at the state of play and made a considered appraisal of what would have happened on Day Two.
I’ve played two other Shiloh scenarios with other rules and found them wanting. Confederate threats vanish after the first couple turns. Normally this one is exciting up till the end.

Ha you, paid the price for all those good dice in our first Oeversee game! 🙂 Good show beyond that!
Well, watch out next time. I think all the snake eyes are gone for a while!
