I started making a dead/undead army this week. I’m pretty well so far and moving along at a cracking pace. I was hoping to get the whole lot done by this weekend but it looks like it will take a few more days. No matter. They’ll definitely be finished by next week.
You can read about them on my blog at: https://this28mmlife.blogspot.com/2020/08/nine-for-mortal-men-doomed-to-die.html
They’re horrible – which I suspect is exactly what you intended.

Where are the sword armed ghosts from? I am just awaiting some boxes before I get into my Mortal Realms minis but wanted to bulk out with some more armed ghosts and they fit really well
And how I wished up more than 2 copies of the first issue over here. Still dallying with picking up maybe two sets of spirit hosts…
I finished some more figures for my undead army. With these completed I can field an army for Dragon Rampant or Saga Age of Magic. But I now have a lot more of those ghostly GW figures due to the recent GW collectors series release.

I like this a lot. Aside from the pleasure of seeing army/warband projects being completed for actual gaming, that ghostly colour palette is exemplary.
Absolutely superb!
Beautiful!
We get slapped around, but we have a good time!
Wow! They are amazing. That zombie dragon is my favourite.

Hi everyone,
Thanks for the positive responses to this project. I’ve finished the last few pieces for the moment. I have enough for Dragon Rampant or Saga Age of Magic. I now have another 60+ of the GW ghost figures which I’m using for my basic troops to add to the 40 of them I’ve already painted, so that will give me enough to field at least about half a dozen regiments (or warbands) for a big battle game. I just need to find the right game.
