    Hello!
I’m Antonio from Top Hat Games, a small Italian game publisher. For our first project, a we worked with Sir Chester Cobblepot, a company specialized in the production of board games for the international market (if you’re also into board games, you may know them for Letters from Whitechapel and Whitehall Mystery).
This week we launched our wargame on Kickstarter: The Fall of the King™, a medieval wargame that faithfully recreates the Guelph-vs-Ghibellines battle of Fossalta in 1249, where King Enzius, the son of emperor Frederick II, was captured by Bolognese Guelphs leading to his 22 years of imprisonment.

The Fall of the King™ will be the first game to feature the original Ventura Battle System, which is designed with both beginners and wargame veterans in mind. In fact, we hope to attract new people to the wonderful world of History and wargames by offering a product with accessible price and difficulty while allowing experienced players to use their favorite miniatures and dioramas when playing our game.

We received a review on BGG from a wargame veteran comparing us to a cult classic, Cry Havoc, which sincerely flattered us! We also answered an in-depth interview with our friends at The Players’ Aid.

We’reon this forum to hear your opinion as well! Any feedback from such experienced enthusiasts such as yourself is more than welcome.
