I decided it was time to start a blog. That’s it, really. I have very little idea what I’m doing, but that’s been the case for almost sixty years bumbling around the planet. Take a look and see what you think.

I see you’ve recruited an onion seller from Roscoff as French spy after all!

Very nice. Certainly a blog I’ll add to my ‘check regularly’ list.

Good stuff Howard – you have a new follower!

I used to lust after the toy soldier offers in US comics in the mid 60s – they had Romans and WWII as well – I wonder what I would have thought then if I had managed to get hold of any? Now I find them surpringly engaging.

New entry up this morning, with lots of pics of my 42mm shiny toys in Morocco.

So glad to hear you are doing a blog, Howard. The fact that you are doing shiny toy soldiers makes it even better. Having said that, is there any hope that Chainmail Bikini will be released one of these days?

    Keep up the great work!

    Glad you like it!

Once I’ve got ‘A Gentleman’s War’ finished, I plan on going back to my Sword and Sorcery rules and completing them. I suspect ‘Chainmail Bikini’ will not be the official title for mainstream publication – maybe ‘Fantastic Tales!’ to show its relationship to ‘Astounding Tales!’ Then again, I also have a Viking novel to finish.

Ooh, be sure to announce both when they are finished! I’ve bookmarked your blog, of course, and so can’t help but feel a part of the inner circle in such matters. I’ll continue to live in hope that one day CB (or FT!) shall also see the light of day.
