I’ve rebased my Zulus and painted enough British to oppose them.
More on the blog.

I’ll be watching! Having just finished some Zulus and working on some Brits, I’m now looking around for a rule set to use. TMWWBK is on the shortlist.

What all these and the latest LR retinue! You are a regular production line.
Very nice, what figures are those.

The Zulus are mostly Warrior Miniatures, apart from the ones with a couple of red coats, those are from Irregular.
The Mounted Infantry are (I think) Boers from Tin Soldier, I’ve had them lying around unpainted for about 20 years so I couldn’t swear to it.
The rest of my British force is from Irregular Miniatures, I still have quite a bit to paint up and I need to order a few figures to make up the numbers for units. I think I might have enough Zulu figures spare to make a double sized game a possibility one day.
Thanks Victoria, Tin Soldier Boers, I like the look of them. How would you say they fit with the Irregular Zulu?

They are a little bit taller than the Zulus, but not enough to look wrong IMO.
Looks great! Looking forward to after-action reports.
It's never too late to have a happy childhood
I haven’t used my Zulus for ages. These photos have me itching to have a game. Your figures certainly capture the majesty of the period.
Thanks for posting.

Thanks for the comparison pic. Tin Soldier Boers for me.

A first AAR for the Zulu war, and some really bad verse to go with it. 🙂
Well, the Colonel calls the Captain
Then the Captain calls the men
He says “Listen lads, I’ve got a task for you
John Zulu’s been a naughty boy
There’s a lesson to be taught
And that is what you men are going to do”.

Looks good! I did Zulus in 25mm with TSATF 30 years ago!
Zulu Wars is one of those things I keep coming back to, I blame it on the movies.
