A second BEF 1940 scenario using The Portable Wargame rules, this time featuring more armour – please see here for details as 101 Panzer Division takes on ‘Bobforce’.
Sorry – that link takes me to the Boardgamegeek entry on the Portable Wargame.
And since I’m posting anyways, I must say that your terrain looks much better than Bob’s in your first scenario. Very nice indeed. I think Bob might be missing a trick – one of the many advantages of wargames that use squares is that the terrain can be diorama quality, while still being quite playable.

Apologies, I think it is fixed now.

Thanks Tony. Now, I consider myself pretty much totally unskilled as a modeller, so getting to ‘diorama standard’ might be a stretch for me in any circumstances! But that said, you are right, it doesn’t take much too get some okay looking terrain bits for this done, and still have them all pack away very tightly. In my case, the whole thing is an old boardgame board and three chocolate boxes. One of those chocolate boxes is just for hills of various sizes – they are probably the hardest bits to do.
