ParticipantLand-batleship sounds very appealing right now.
As soon as I had these undercoated I realized the four legged mech could have been designed based on actual tank turrets and engine exhaust. T-26 for Russian. FT-17 or one of those cavalry tanks from France. Vikers 6ton or 7TP for Brits and PzI or II for Germans. Back to designing.
Tired is enough.

ParticipantYet another world map. This time for Tiny Air Combat, which had pretty much evolved into a boardgame with miniatures.
Tired is enough.

ParticipantMore like I can’t stick to a single idea. I keep wanting to do something new.
Tired is enough.

Fantastic design, kind of what I would like my Dieselpunk mechs to look like. How tall are they and did you sculpt them yourself?
Your output of finely sculpted models is incredible. Sometimes it only seems to take you days to create a whole bunch of models. Wish I had your talent and patience.

ParticipantI copied the design of the biped from Iron Harvest game. They’re 3D printed and around 11mm-12mm tall, the multi-legged ones are under 10mm. If you message me your e-mail address I can send the files to you. They’re multi-parts and a little fiddly but can be scaled up.
You’re right about these being fast. I generally work on things for a week at a time before moving on to someting else, helps keep things fresh. It also helps that I’m into very tiny scales.
Tired is enough.

ParticipantJames Gurney had his own idea of what “land galleons” would look like:
And I think this one is by Larry Elmore:

ParticipantThose land galleons makes me think of Dark Eldar skimmers.

ParticipantI really like this particular angle:

ParticipantThis latest image looks very viable to do. The tracks looks like I could use Epic 40k tanks the hull looks like it can be made out of those fat, multi-colored pens. that gun turret on top could use M552, but it’ll be tough finding one in the right scale to be that small.
The other image in the link, the hull looks like it’s more teardrop shape with flat bottom.
I wish I could paint like that.
Tired is enough.
