    I realised last month that my SYW Prussian army was a little lacking in the light infantry department, so an Urgent Operational Requirement was submitted…

    Really enjoyed reading your article.  Fascinating account of the Freikorps!  I’ve always thought the “Petite Guerre”, despite Frederick’s distaste for such a plebeian form of war, an intriguing part of 18th century warfare.   Your painting is certainly impressive.  Great job!

    Now, my rulebook is in the basement, and I am not, but from memory – doesn’t Shako have a SYW appendix to adapt those rules for the earlier period?
