ParticipantThe shipping cost was quite high and then I got hit for customs. But yeah I would buy more from CinC because there are so many awesome poses.

ParticipantThey look even better with the flocking. 🙂
I have to agree with all of you, the SEM, marines in particular, are very good sculpts.

ParticipantSunspoke Mining Company security. These professionals chose to remain behind when Sunspoke pulled the plug on the mine. Quite a few farming communities remained behind and these brave souls chose to remain also to provide law enforcement to those communities.

Fantastic work all around. Good to see 6mm getting some love.

ParticipantOne can never have too much terrain 🙂
Good start on these, looking forward to seeing them in their finished state. To “bury” the artefacts you might want to consider using something like wood filler or caulk to build up the base around them before flocking.
And was that some 6mm normandie action I saw just at the end?

ParticipantYeah I have an experimental 6mm WW2 project going on. I don’t enjoy painting them as much though because there are more colours. But I have had a dozen sets of rules gathering dust that I would like to use. Also WW2 was my first love and I miss it, but 20mm larger battles require more space than I have.

ParticipantYeah, seems legit, but something about them makes me suss.
what are you saying Mike? That those Sunspoke security could be a bit dodgy?
Thuseld, when you paint WW2. Do base the colours on history and perhaps research it first. Or what ever and just make it? Like what I do with my Scfi stuff.

Greg, my WW2 infantry are painted with proper WW2 colours. I am using the same schemes as my 20mm WW2 used, but I miss out belts and straps and stuff. Sci fi is all made up.

ParticipantHere is my new Horizon Wars faction.
“Join us in Paradise or we’ll send you to Hell”
With a strap line like that, it is no wonder the Neo Christian Union took their followers and retreated to fringe space. Whether to avoid persecution or because their extreme views are unwelcome to many civilised people across known space, it was decided to colonise a system of planets out of the way. God willed it.
That was a long time ago. The Paradise system became something of a Bermuda triangle and was to be avoided. In recent decades, however, NCU Missionary Forces have been spotted pushing further out of the Paradise system. Missionary outposts have been found on a number of planets nearby including New Charon.

A cool force, but where are the banners and crosses 😉
The color scheme has a nice contrast to it.

Good question. I didn’t want to make them overtly religious looking in case I want to use them for something else. But now you mention crosses I might add some in. Depends though. I wanted to play with them tomorrow and won’t be painting tonight as it is my wedding anniversary.

Anything planned in the mech or Aero departments, or is this going to be a strictly conventional force?

ParticipantIndiana Jones and Han Solo? Well, they make me think of them anyway.
I would say you are correct about Han Solo, I struggle to see an other inspiration for that particular miniature.
As for Indiana Jones? Not so sure as he has no whip, but I imagine he is inspired from somewhere.

ParticipantVery nice job on those!!!
I must say I always saw him as Indy to( I’ll have to convert one to carry a whip now
), and the female figure in that same set as Lara Croft for that matter.
That set of figures is very movie inspired, and one of their best for character minis imo.
