I have completed the Too Fat Lardies’ Op Martlet link campaign and very enjoyable it was too. I used WRG 1925-1950 rules PDF link for the tactical conflict and used Martin England’s Threat Generation System solo rules in Miniature Wargames 373 miniaturewargames.co.uk/?p=119 for controlling the German defenders.
AARs for Battles 4,5 and 6 for the mini-campaign are here:
Battle 4: link
Battle 5: link
Battle 6: link
I’d highly recommend this campaign guide for WW2 players looking for some interesting historical scenarios using 1944 British and German forces in Normandy with a reinforced infantry platoon per side. Well done TooFatLardies!

Tempest:
This looks really interesting. The old WRG Armour and Infantry rules were a nostalgic blast from the past! The three games you described were very interesting. How big was the playing area? Did you already post the first three scenarios and I just missed them? I have to check. Thanks for posting this and sharing.
Cheers and good gaming.
Rod Robertson.
Thanks for your kind words Rod. The table was a small 3′ x 2′ board. I used 1mm = 0.5m rather than 1mm = 1m and in truth I could have easily made the ground scale close to 1mm = 0.2m. The WRG rules are old but I think that they hold up remarkably well. I do have a couple of quibbles, I might address them in a proper review but overall I am very pleased how they played out.
