Tracking Skill

in 1st edition of 5 Leagues, what does Tracking skill do? The definition refers to the Encounter section, but I can’t find the game mechanic for it.

I’m playing 3rd edition, so treat this with appropriate caution, but Track is an option crew can take like trading or training or exploring. Track gives you a chance to locate a rival and fight them in the battle part of the campaign turn, if you successfully track them.

Hi Mike,

Thanks for replying.  It did help, in that it helped me to figure out a better place to look!  In this edition (1e) it is mechanically a re-roll ability on the ‘Adjust Threat’ chart.
