My Trojan War project is picking up again – here is a comparison pic from figures in my possession:

Redoubt are smaller than I would expect. Good to know.

If you ignore the helmets and crests, maybe by  looking at the height of the eyes, then the only one that I would be wary of mixing in would be the Victrix.  The Black Tree are a bit bigger, but you could probably fit a couple in.  When I did my 28mm Achaean army, I used a mixture of Redoubt, Foundry and, I think, Amazon figures.

I would be wary of Foundry, looked at them at shows, and the sculpts were fine, the physical casting less so.

Foundry, in my opinion, are quite hit or miss.  The faces on my Foundry spearmen are very nice, but their hands are oddly shaped.  Black Tree seems bigger, and the poses are not my favorite.

And, the Victrix figure is included for reference only – that style of armor is 750 years after the Trojans.

Thanks for this. I’ve got a stash of Mycenean/Trojans clammering for paint and the pull is growing. I hadn’t seen any of the Eureka figures but they look like they’d fit in nicely with the others.
