Someone knows it if there exists in the trade, figurines of 25/30 mm representing the characters of the 2004 American epic period war film “Troy” written by David Benioff and directed by Wolfgang Petersen with Brad Pitt.
Or, who resembles them strangely …
I want strictly “portrait figures” or almost … otherwise it’s less fun …
Thank you13/08/2017 at 10:25 #69791Mike HeaddenParticipant
Not aware of anyone doing figures of the characters from the film. The film seemed to go for the usual summer blockbuster attitude of “it doesn’t matter if it’s accurate as long as the punters know which side is which.”
Wargames Foundry do a nice line in 28mm Trojan Wars which can be found here – https://www.wargamesfoundry.com/collections/myceneans-minoans-and-the-trojan-war-1600-800bc

I don’t think anyone has made figures specifically based on the film but you can find figures in the Wargames Foundry ‘World of the Greeks’ range (and particularly in the ‘Argonauts and Mythical Heroes’ line) that look like a reasonable approximation: https://www.wargamesfoundry.com/collections/world-of-the-greeks
Edit: Mike beat me to it. Must learn to type faster.

Thanks to you two…
I know all this thank you, but this is not again what I’m looking for …
There could be something to do with the achille figure with the dipylon shield, but that remains to be seen …
