Really curious about the Total System Scenic terrain tiles.

Anyone got some photos of using them in a game?

Yes. But I only use one tile at a time. I am guessing that is not much help?

Do you happen to have a photo of them with a few figures on or something?

hmmm just thought, none have the original finish.
For both ‘scales’ I have flocked or otherwise altered them…

I guess I am just curious about general impressions.

    They look really tempting.

If you Google TSS tiles there are a few photos online of full tables.

I have a few tiles and hill edges here. I can take some photos with 6mm and 15mm tomorrow if you like

    They are nice.
The flock is pretty dense and stuck on well.

The newer space saving tiles which are thinner are good.
I only use them, even when totally altering the surface and I could use wood, I use their tiles as they are light and robust all things considered.

Geoff – if you dont mind, that’d be wicked.

15mm is fine, that’s mostly what I use.

I assume they can be pushed up against each other just fine so you can use multiples?

My gaming table is about 3 feet across and 5’ish feet wide.

If you Google some wargame show reports, there are usually a proportion of tiled tables, though typically shows are becoming more heavily geared towards 28mm games. Don’t forget good old carpet tiles as an option, get the right colour (they will take scrubbed into them) and the right pile and a decent quality and the joins between the tiles just disappear.

there should be some pictures on my blog, Im at work right now so cant check and see, but I have been using TSS tiles for around 10years and not had any issues with them, I have the 2ftx2ft and 1ftx1ft tiles along with a few 2ftx1ft tiles, despite rough handling they are all still fine, they have had one or two dings which can easily be repaired with a bit of paint/flock
