Just checked the TD website, and noticed their “Age of Battleships” range of 1/2400th warships has been listed:

It’s a pretty large release, mainly Russian and Japanese ships for the RJW, but it looks like it’ll progress from there. I love their ironclad range and I can’t wait to check these out!

There are none to be seen! It’s like the olden days, only online.

I’ve bought most of my TD collection in such circumstances, and I’ve not been disappointed. I’ll choose what I’m ordering this weekend and post the barenaked metal pics on here.

Would have been tempting if I didn’t already have complete fleets for the RJW in 1/3000

I guess that’ll be the case for quite a few people, and in that respect it’s perhaps a strange choice to kick off a new range. Then again, I suppose it’s the big seller in this period.

I’d like to see some Sino-Japanese and Spanish-American war ships, plus a few Turkish and Russian ironclads in the Victorian range wouldn’t go amiss! Despite the difference in price, I’ve been won over by the slightly chunkier 1/2400 for this period, cf. 1/3000.

Forgot about this thread until I was sorting out what toys I’m going to be playing with in 2015… Here’s a few pics of TD’s 1/2400th General Apraxin and Idzumo, along with a few tugs, lighters and trawlers (the latter not listed on the site yet I think, but available and, to me suggestive of Otranto Barrage fodder). A few ironclads lurking in the background. The new TD ships are different from the previous fare in that they don’t have bases, are multi-piece and carry more detail (though perhaps not as much as the WTJ equivalents). I’ll be ordering more in the coming year.

Okaaaaay, I’m going to try and and a pic or two here….

Right, that didn’t work. I’m going to have to put my hand up and wait for the teacher.
