The wife and I have been watching this, very well done and very informative.

Mrs H and I binged watched all the episodes over Saturday and Sunday an excellent docu-drama, I highly recommend it.

Not seen it, but I read ‘Captain Gilbert Roberts R.N. and the Anti-U-Boat School’ by Mark Williams back in the 80s sometime.  Fascinating story of professional wargaming.

I worried about the blurb on the ‘A Game of Birds and Wolves’ book – particularly the bit about ‘novelistic flair’  and ‘cinematic detail’ which in my head translates to -‘made up’.

However it’s good to have the work better known, and Williams’ book is long out of print and around £60 and upward if you can find a copy.
