Bill Hamilton has been hard at work updating the text to make it much more readable and easy to use AND the game will be one of the first to become a “living rulebook” where the game will be updated through Patreon.

For the uninitiated, Usurper can be thought of as a mix between narrative RPGs like FATE and table driven RPGs like MERP or HARP, and comes absolutely stuffed full of random generation tables for everything from cities to deities and much much more.

It can be played solo by adding an oracle and features a ton of event tables to move your game along, and includes support for everything from domain play to creepy dungeon crawling.
