I have just posted a blog about today’s Vapnartak in York. I didn’t get a chance to take a picture of all the games on display, but there’s a few photos to give you a good idea what was there on my blog:

No Problem William, I am glad you liked the pics. I’d like to see the ones from Plymouth, but York is definitely worth a trip up north.

Much appreciated. I always crave these pictorial show/convention reports. The Lustria game looks fun.

On a side note, Machi Koro looks interesting. I have a mate currently living in Japan who’s completely into this new, budding Japanese “Eurogame”-style boardgame scene.

Thanks – attended and thought the show was busy and it was nice to see that all of the scales were represented.  I hope all those that went got a good dose of inspiration – something for everyone there.

Thanks guys. Vapnartak rarely, if ever, disappoints. The venue is great, the games are of a very high standard, it’s well attended and there is a great deal of good traders (although PSC were notable by their absence this year). It always gets a thumbs up from our gang and one we are prepared to travel to.

I saw a review of Machi Koro online and wasn’t expecting to see it today, so it was good to see it there ad at a good price (cheaper than Amazon!). I’ve looked through it and it looks like a good fun game, something to play at the start or end of a session.
