As part of the preparation for the SOGG big game covering the invasion of Sicily1943 I needed to have some Vineyards. Originally I planned to use the JTT Vines, but having bought one pack I found them rather spindly so I decided that I would make the remainder myself.
The darker vines on the left are my own version.
For anyone interested, here is how they were constructed using copper wire and clump foliage. All based on lolly sticks like the walls, etc.
Excellent!
Very nicely done – thanks
Excellent modeling Will, cheers for sharing.
Brilliant Will. I particularly like your darker ones.
I’m going to try these out. Thanks a lot for sharing
“The great Gaels of Ireland are the men that God made mad,
For all their wars are merry, and all their songs are sad.”
Nice…. I like the way this came out!
I’ve always thought vineyards would be a nice addition and I had looked at the JTT pack. Glad I didn’t but it because you vineyard looks bloody spot on for a fraction of the cost.
I will definitely be looking at trying this myself so many thanks for the how to photo’s Will, a right corker of an idea.

It is as funny as it may seem, i have never made a marsh as well which i thought should be important for a tabletop, i have got a great idea for it and how to create one.I think it might just come in handy for all on here.
