VSF Airships in 6mm(MDF)

I was working on them for a while. Time to share.

I started with 30 seconds sketches.

Then draw them in computer.

Then lasercutting

Similar way I did other ships

MDF can be painted quite easy.

I plan to make more ships. This is my plan

What is your thoughts ?  Is it good idea to have airships in 6mm ? Or they belong a smaller scale?

Now there is an excellent idea. Well thought out and produced.

You know, these would be great with some of the Baccus 6mms. Drill out some little recesses for magnets and you can put gun crews on the deck and pick them off one by one.  Basically use the rules from Sky Galleons of Mars with no alterations.

And since I’m on a Quar kick these days, I could see using them with 6mm Quar crews as well for a third dimension to the battlefield.

Oh and in answer to the question, 6mm scale is great, I think, if you want to model crews on the decks or have them play alongside surface troops, which would both be awesome. So I Heartily Endorse this Event or Product.

They are really meant for 6mm but I believe they will work for 3mm too!
