ParticipantI am getting back into Napoleonic gaming after several years hiatus focusing on WWII. Most of my collection is composed of vintage 25mm Napoleonic figures. I want to relieve folks of painted figures just gathering dust as I “staff up” to play with an adaptation of Wars of Ozz for Napoleonic games. In particular, I am looking for Austrians and Prussians. The small batches I have found on Ebay are overpriced for figures that are no longer in favor. If you have some that you think you might like to sell, please contact me at [email protected].

ParticipantOtherwise, simplest way is to go to the source; Caliver Books.
I know of some massive armies, but nobody sells them off.
Best of luck… d23/12/2022 at 09:59 #181461willz

ParticipantThanks for the pointers. I am in the US, so 20 GBP to ship each set to the US make them a bit pricey.

ParticipantAh that’s a bummer, such is the downside of international postage. If it helps I regularly see wargame stuff for sale in America but I don’t buy it because of postage costs.

Buck- – I recant… in the past couple of years when I was adding to my Hinchliffes deficits, (and he used to own the range and rights) I used :
https://www.hindsfiguresltd.com/Figures-For-Sale.html
Select Era = Napoleonics and then choose scale.
Select Scale = 25mm
Select Nation = as you wish…
Select Troop = Type
When viewing the list (finally)- Opt/ Cmd click on View to open a separate window (otherwise you get the back and forth reindexing which inevitable fouls up the index list and you have to start from ‘Era’ all over again! Don’t say you haven’t been warned! Now he doesn’t sell by make, he sells by unit description(*), so I’d suggest a direct email (Ian Hinds) explaining your needs and desires and asking him to match ‘Minifigs’ with what he’s selling. Unless/ if you are familiar with the figures it is a long time to pull up pics. (I gave this link because you cannot link in lower levels due to the ‘frame structure of site).
Now the ‘best’ painted are bloody expensive- I bought modest ‘Good’ or Average paint jobs in a few ancilliary units plus some unknown Russian generals.
He’s open to offers on price (I think I made about -25% discounts on some) on the Ebay (if still using- he stopped for a while).
Bloody nice guy, went out of his way to serve and supply- very good all round retailler! Give him 5* !!!
NB-* Descriptions of the items are sometimes a bit, ahhh, ‘loose’ shall I say… apart from the obvious wrongly placed photograph; but en generalé they are ok. The ‘figures’ count includes rider and horse, so =2. Etc. Some of the artillery confused me, so I think he includes separate pieces etc. You have to look!
cheers dave
