The annual event will be taking place on Sunday 4th October 2020. Start time will be 10am and the event closes at 3pm (Traders and sellers can get in from 8.15am on the day). The event will be held at The Scout Hut, King George’s Playing Fields, Old Hale Way, HITCHIN. Herts. SG5 1XL. (signposted Hitchin Rugby Club). Please use right hand car park, although if full, there is ample free parking on nearby roads. The event is free to get in for the public. Table tops are available for hire (currently have sold 4 tables with a further 5 tables to go), and are 6 foot long by 2 foot 2 inches wide. Tables cost £8.00. Tables can be booked via email to [email protected]

At present traders and clubs attending are Sword & Scabbard Books / On Target Markers, Pumpernickle Tabletop Games,  Lost Ark Games (Stevenage) and Alistair’s Fantasy figures (dealer in second hand figures).

The event attracts gamers from Hertfordshire/ Mid Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire and we have had guest from further afield.  We provide refreshments of tea / coffee and biscuits which are free (although donations gratefully accepted which go towards Scout Hall funds). The event is accessible to most people as it is in a scout hall, although a small step at entrance causes some problems. If more information is needed please contact Peter Day on the above email or via the Sword & Scabbard Books Facebook site.

Brief update. Jon Page of Sphere Products has asked me to reserve two tables for him with a keen show of interest (depending on current situations changing with any pre planned shows being re scheduled to this date). So presently we have 4 tables awaiting takers.

Just taken the decision to CANCEL this event. Unfortunately I cannot satisfy all the current requirements to ensure visitors safety during the current situation. The hall just isn’t big enough to do them. Sorry all. But on a good note looking forward to organizing the event for net year. Cheers Peter

    Sad but understandable.
