I avoid contributing The Miniatures Page (for reasons we shan’t discuss here), but I do keep an eye on the Napoleonics folder, esp. the Russians. There’s always the possibility of new information, or at least some hints to where I might be able to improve my own page. I’m watching the discussion of blackened equipment for the Russian Jaegers. So far, it seems it’s pretty well covered on my web page. Then yesterday von Winterfeldt posts a link to my page with a brief endorsement. This morning…not a hint it was ever there… (Meanwhile, several paragraphs cut-and-pasted without attribution from Mark Conrad’s translation of Viskovatov remain immediately prior.)

    Oh no….

Sounds like one of you may have upset someone!

Or it is a bug and the post vanished when the site did its arcane overnight database reindex.

Posts disappear all the time. It’s a policy, not a bug.

Fortunately this forum exists instead. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Always best to stay mum, lest the “bug” come for you.
