I’m still trying to get ideas on what to put down to replicate the grayish-tan leafy cover usually found under bamboo forests.

PS. So far I have dried oregano and dill weed as possibilities:

When I make the sawdust flock and run it through a strainer to get the finest particles for basing, it leaves larger (and variably shaped) coarse pieces. I use those as my bamboo litter.
Sawdust? I didn’t think of that. Thanks.

Hi Cacique, you can see the result on the left hand side of the picture. The coarse pieces of sawdust are on the bamboo’s base.
Nicely done!
