I’m in need of inspiration or direction. The local game store closed down and it’s 40 miles one way to the next nearest one. So I need to decide what to game of paint next. I still have 4, 12 man units of Continental line infantry to do AWI with Rebels and Patriots Or build more USN, PT boats for Cruel Seas. I could dig out my 1914 French and Germans for the Great War. Then again I could just be a butterfly and try Five Core Viet Nam like Just Jack.
Help me out!!!

What’s being played at the store 40 miles away? (note: My nearest store is 70 miles(1.5 hours) away in Colorado Springs and either I provide both sides (which is fine, they are good guys and tolerate my naval obsession) or I play what is popular which is primarily Warlord (Cruel Seas, Bolt Action or Black Powder FIW) , SAGA and Battlefront (FOW & the modern version) so I have a couple of Cruel Seas fleets, A couple of SAGA armies and a Black Powder FIW Brit Army in production.
When in Rome.
The tree of Life is self pruning.
That’s a drive, McKinstry! I dug out my French Infantry for FIW as I only need two 12 figure units to have enough to play the first Rebels and Patriots scenario. Good second Nam AAR with Panda Just Jack!!! I do have those Conan figures that I need to paint, Mike.
I’d finish of the R&P figures so that you can get some games in, which is always nice. One day I might even finish some of mine…
Can’t go wrong with AWI. Probably the most wargamable (I made that word up, but it works) period out there, so no time spent on Continentals is wasted. I black undercoated 30 Perry plastics last year and done nothing since, but still think that was a good use of my time.
But I am biased and refuse to listen to anybody who disagrees….
