I tried out my Wings at War based rules for the 1969 Football War today. It was great fun but wonky dice rolls gave the game to the Hondurans, while the Salvadorans had really, really bad luck.
I’ll do another game with some different aircraft and a new D6 tomorrow, hopefully giving the FAS a better run of luck!

That was quite the interesting outcome, and a whole bunch ‘o points scored. Good thing you aren’t running a “real” campaign as that’d be a heck of a bummer of a start for the FAS. Might want to run those pilots through another round of aerial gunnery school!

The Salvadorans lost a third of their Corsairs and two fifths of their Mustangs in one game, so it was pretty bad. They do have a bunch of Cessnas and a few C47’s though!
