I bashed together some terrain pieces for the Russian Front for 1/72nd scale What a Tanker! over the weekend.
I used some laser cut templates from Supreme Littleness Designs and East Riding Miniatures, both of which are really useful, with a load of plastic trees from Woodland Scenics. The ‘snow’ is a filler, PVA, acrylic paste and sand, spray painted with matt and gloss Halfords car paints.
There’s a step by step run through on the blog:

:O)
Cool, like the ground cover and the wash out white in the tanks. Do the trees come in different size? They fit really well with the tanks.
Yes they come in mixed packs either small and medium or medium and large. They’re not cheap but do go a long way.
