I tested out some homegrown infantry skirmish rules, based loosely on some rules I had used last year. It was an 8 British soldier patrol on a 2’x’2′ board. I did the reports last year in comic style, and have done the same here. Of course being me, I have surrounded the actual 5 page comic with a long introduction, some background on the gaming, the game as a narrative and a final verdict! but there is 5 pages of comic action in the blog post:

A page of the comic, so you can gauge your interest:
Shaun:
Great report! Lance Corporal Airfix?!? Cool skirmish and really nice report, especially good coming off the heels of a social tsunami! Thanks for posting this!
Cheers and more good gaming.
Rod Robertson.
Hey thanks Shaun !!! Love Corporal Airfix !!! But those are some big chickens and cows !!!!
Big animals are all I have – one day I will buy some smaller farm animals from the toy store.
TROJAN PIG!!! TROGAN PIG!!!! TROJAN PIG!!! TROGAN PIG!!!!
“The great Gaels of Ireland are the men that God made mad,
For all their wars are merry, and all their songs are sad.”
Sorry about that…
Excellent stuff as I’ve mentioned elsewhere Shaun!

Yes, the Trojan pig is still ALIVE!
I do not think I can get rid of it 🙂
