ParticipantFew shots of the game we have played for the past two sessions. Excuse the quality, taken on my phone!
British platoon supported by two shermans meeting a Pz Grenadier platoon plus PzIV and Pak40 coming the other way. Basically an excuse to get my newly painted 20mm HACME buildings on table .

Participant@Mike – not that I’m aware of. Wouldn’t surprise me though it’s been having some issues this week.
@Ian – look what the cat dragged in! How you doing buddy. Need to catch up…
@Tim. Sorry, I put a bit of blurb on my blog about what the stuff was. The run down is:
Large farm complex – commission figurines
Hedges – Last Valley
Trees – Last Valley and scratchbuilt
Buildings – Scratchbuilt (taller ones) and HACME
Walls – Hovels (large red walls), unknown (small stone walls), scratchbuilt.
Roads – S &A scenics
British- Britannia and Lance
Germans – FAA
Vehicles a mix of SHQ, Britannia, plastics.
Hope that helps and I’ve not missed anything.
I’ve also sorted the pic size out. Because I did it all on my phone for the first time ever I didn’t realise the file size. I’ve reduced them to 25% size and the file size has dropped commensurate to that. Thanks for pointing it out.

ParticipantGavin, glad you got the photo size sorted, I have tried several times to get into the post, but just couldn’t open it on the old picture size. Terrain is lovely and it is always inspiring ti see that such wonderful looking stuff can be played in a relatively small space. cheers.

ParticipantCheers Norm. Yeah, apologies about the picture size.
The table isn’t too small, 5 x 6 ft so while not your American basement behemoth it’s similar sized or bigger than most UK tables I’d guess.

ParticipantGreat table, congratulations!
It just needs some cows for Camembert cheese production.

ParticipantPatrice, I’ve been on the lookout for some dead cows for a while now but no one seems to do them in 20mm. 28mm yes, 20mm no. Any ideas?

ParticipantFor dead cows, you could possibly get metal “live” ones and put them on their back with their legs pushed a little wider, or on their sides with the legs pushed down towards the ground? I know I have seen HO scale cows that are laying down as well as “presented” (laying on their belly with their legs beneath them) and those could work too.

ParticipantGreat looking table! How did you make the fire, explosions?
Cheers,
Thomas

ParticipantHi Thomas, the fires are something I bought so I can’t say for sure, but I believe having made similar for explosion markers, that it’s clump foliage glued together and then soaked in pva to harden the foam structure.
