The Armchair General by John Buckley. An interesting read that visits important decision points in World War II, putting you in the shoes of various characters related to that moment in time, so that you can choose which path to take, the historical one – or an alternative.
The detail is good and feels credible, giving insight into the influences that were pulling at decision makers at the time.
I have put up a synopsis over on the blog for anyone interested.
