Brill, as usual. Perfect 6 have some great pieces.
I’ve just ordered a load of buildings from Leven unfortunately. Which will probably be enough to do all the bases I need. I keep meaning to get some of the remodelled Mura miniatures Japanese buildings, but I also realise that I don’t actually need any…
I live in hope eternal. 🙂
In what way re-modelled?
I worked on these for 2d6. A lot of the masters needed repair, so microscopic changes there, but despite being great models they weren’t highly suitable for casting. Some were hollow and were filled with rubber, so they were made solid, and many had problematic overhangs, so those were tidied. All minor and barely noticeable on the finished cast, but now they’re bubble free and easier to cast. The Swedish (?) fella who made these must have a hell of a time casting the originals.
Lovely, as I’ve said elsewhere.
If you get any more Anglo Saxon buildings, would you consider getting some from 2d6 Wargaming?
I made them, but I’m not trying to hard-sell you, just I’d really like to see some painted up well. 😉
Thanks for all the kind words.
I gotta ask. Any chance of getting these in 3mm?
Thanks, I think it’s my best 6mil work so far. 🙂
Very nicely done. Reminds me of this scene from Vikings, 😉 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C9QwcOwhbGM
I make a basing compound as taught to me by Matakishi, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_kH4hFQt-tE using the very fine sand from IKEA which is sold for home decor… finest sand I’ve found.
My fave for gaming, rather predictably, is 6mil by far. 28mm is where the cash is though…
I’m almost tempted by Lot B-B : 6mm painted resin buildings, but can’t really work out what they all are… nice roofs though 😉
There’s a pair of two storey terraces and a factory, but what are the others? Which brand are they?
I’ll go for “Vin Linh-Steel Rampart”.
Available in it’s entirety here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N-uziN-Ssmg
Thanks mate, I wanted a lot of variety to it rather than just one big set lump of resin.
Thanks, about 30 hours left, did get over the 2K hump.
Thanks, yes the fort base fits in my vacuum chamber with around 10mm clearance either side.
The mistress of my heart games occasionally, she’s good at it too as she has all the qualities of Liudmyla Pavlychenko. She doesn’t really attend shows though, partly because she’s expects everything ready for her at the gaming table – Lucky thing, but because she’s found it typically a patronising experience.
We’ve seen a few shows offer the free entry as AB suggests, and my darling wasn’t impressed, she saw it as more patronising. I don’t think it’s intended as such, but the perception wins out doesn’t it?
