PaintingLittleSoldiersParticipant
Was this the one posted on the solo wargamers page too ?
I’ve been looking at IAMSM for solo myself.
PaintingLittleSoldiersParticipantI must admit BorisBoris was a fabulous forum name.
As I’m awake in the UK night time I’m happy to spam watch during that time if you need it it
PaintingLittleSoldiersParticipantThese are very good – I wish I had your talent.
PaintingLittleSoldiersParticipantGreat !
PaintingLittleSoldiersParticipantWe played Quatre Bras once but the French side know nothing about it and thought it was a simple pick up game – quite fun !.
PaintingLittleSoldiersParticipantI keep forgetting !
PaintingLittleSoldiersParticipantThey look great. My partner makes fairy scenes out of clay for markets and the houses reminded me of them
PaintingLittleSoldiersParticipantThis might have been asked before but where are those figures from ?
PaintingLittleSoldiersParticipantGreat stuff.
PaintingLittleSoldiersParticipantIs the “Stars and Their Story” line supposed to say “Five Parsecs from home” ?
PaintingLittleSoldiersParticipantI thought I had this already but I did not so just got it.
PaintingLittleSoldiersParticipantI’ve always used this chart for comparisons.
https://www.dakkadakka.com/wiki/en/Paint_Range_Compatibility_Chart
I still use around eight Coat D’arms colours as a bottle can last me around eight years. I am only just using up the original GW paints I purchased in 2005
PaintingLittleSoldiersParticipantI follow most 15mm Sci Fi and 1/72 news\reviews sites but most other periods I have what I need already so finding out about the 20th company that makes a French line infantry man is not that important.
PaintingLittleSoldiersParticipantI don’t usually as my gaming partner (when we play) is fantastic at it !
PaintingLittleSoldiersParticipantThanks – I failed at the captcha for some reason …most likely my eyes.
PaintingLittleSoldiersParticipantI enjoy painting too much – it is how I unwind.
PaintingLittleSoldiersParticipantWhat is Society of Daisy ?
PaintingLittleSoldiersParticipantI was tempted but I simply don’t have the time to do it in the next few weeks sorry.
PaintingLittleSoldiersParticipantI used coffee stirrers as structural support and they work quite well for the card I use.
PaintingLittleSoldiersParticipantThanks.
I have some pre-printed kits I purchased yonks ago but i am following some advice to practice on free ones first and buy do I need practice. Most of my gaming is at home solo so they are very handy, lightweight and also replaceable.
PaintingLittleSoldiersParticipantI have a lot of your stuff I am painting at the moment, hopefully I’ll be able to post some pics soon.
PaintingLittleSoldiersParticipantI am currently making two viking longships out of card, painting a load of 1/72 fantasy figures and also finishing some scratchbuilt buildings. This year I would like to finish my 1/72 WW2 Desert Italians and British, my 28mm 1815 Prussians and my 28mm WSS Spanish.
PaintingLittleSoldiersParticipantA variety of sprays ….Tamiya , army painter and dulux. Am switching to vallejo brushed on for a bit as last sprays have failed and resulted in tacky goop that needed dettol removal.
PaintingLittleSoldiersParticipantI follow TWW mostly as I know of most suppliers I need already and new ones are often mentioned on blogs that I follow. Most rules I gave picked up recently are due to posts here ( Crom, NWG etc ). I never followed tnp as most people here never heard if it until recently.
PaintingLittleSoldiersParticipantThanks Norm.
I usually get time to reflect around April 🙁
PaintingLittleSoldiersParticipantLove the use of the paper\card table, I do the same on occasions for small scale games as I have some old draughting sheets (though nothing of that scale).
Also did you take part in Paul’s Napoleonic campaigns ? I suspect I opposed you on occasions
PaintingLittleSoldiersParticipantWhat are paypal’s fees – are they per transaction or a % ?
PaintingLittleSoldiersParticipantI purchased the rule based off your report and visuals (Call me magpie) so this should be fun.
PaintingLittleSoldiersParticipantGreat stuff !
Love the figures and board \ map. Makes me wonder why I always go for the complicated path – 1/72 etc.
PaintingLittleSoldiersParticipantThanks,
I have started making buildings and all my spare paparcraft kits (Paper terrain \ Pireme Publishing \ World works) so I’ll take a look at the CW forum.
PaintingLittleSoldiersParticipantNothing so I am about to make up for it with online shopping.
PaintingLittleSoldiersParticipantCool, where is all the papercraft from ?
PaintingLittleSoldiersParticipantThe boxes don’t mention any scale but below are some photos of one of thm next to some 1/72 esci and a 28mm Warzone figure. I’m not that great with scales but I think they might be a bit small for 28mm (Though I don’t have any 28mm modern figures so don’t know if the warzone ones are big\small etc)
PaintingLittleSoldiersParticipantThanks Bill, I’ll take a look.
Cheers
PaintingLittleSoldiersParticipantI have 5150 but never heard of the platoon leader version.
PaintingLittleSoldiersParticipantIt looks good.
I have an original copy of hell by daylight somewhere – of the memories.
PaintingLittleSoldiersParticipantHave played – Age of Eagles, Hexblitz and Song of Blades
Want to play Crom, Bill Lamming Medievial rules and Five Core
PaintingLittleSoldiersParticipantI have my own blog but use it mainly as a personal log of what I am doing at the time (as well as hosting photos).
PaintingLittleSoldiersParticipantHat and others have a lot if you don’t mind 1/72 plastic.
PaintingLittleSoldiersParticipantVery good.
I finally have my Ion age campaign (Stanford Prime) being finalised, something I started back when I playtested Patrol Angis but was delayed for several reasons. I recently picked up a few other orders from Gavin and the team that are on the painting desk (a long with some home made scenery).
