ParticipantThis is a nice way to show the evolution of uniforms. I think I will use that in the future.
Regarding the Grenadier Hollandais; these existed only from 1810 when the Kingdom of Halland became part of France and they officially ceased to exist in february 1813.
They also had no plate on their bearskin.greetings

ParticipantI know I want to wargame ww2 and because the terrain we have is in 28mm scale I think that it will be in that scale, but everytime I see your figures, tanks, terrain and boards I am doubting.
Always great to see, thanks (
) for the continuing uncertainty which scale to use.

Participantwhen do these become available?

ParticipantI think that when you look what sells more, it seems that Napoleonic will beat other 18th century ranges. But as more information becomes available of earlier 18th century, better rules for skirmishing and battles appear and of course great figure ranges in various scales, the 18th century becomes a great period.
What can beat those tricorns??

ParticipantNice figures and painting. Thansk for sharing.

ParticipantMy favourite figures are the Eureka French Revolutionary ones, late 18thc century I admit, but 18th century they are!.
Have already bought a reasonable amount but painted, due to lack of time, none.
Sad but true.

ParticipantI wondered how many figures (and models) each side had? A breakdown of used troops would be great.
Thanks

ParticipantGreat looking battle with an unusal theme. Do you know which figures? Think I recognise Minifigs and AB?
One day my FR army will be expanded to this time frame but I have to go painting them!

ParticipantI started with Napoleonics but second came the 7YW, both in 15mil. 7YW because of the uniforms, smaller battles, and tricorns.
We have also Nine Years War figures (does that count also as Horse and Musket?) and I am now starting to collect the French Revolution. Both last ranges in 28mm.
I love the Horse and Musket period for it’s colour, but different tactics in each subperiod. Some pictures of our games can be seen at http://www.aldegarde.blogspot.com .
