Sounds good Shelldrake , I’ll be using my Imagi-nation The Sultanate of Ifat and it’s mercenary army V The Jihadist in a fight for the Oil rich valley of Taboole. The first game will be the Retaking of Oil Pumping Station Zebra… Er The Sultanate Of Ifat is a comic-opera take off on Casablanca/Monty Python and Cthulhu…

I have GWSH 2 but they seem geared toward 6mm. Which is cool but I game in 15mm.

Hurrah. I had a Computer Pixy help me download the rules and got Staples to print and bind them this afternoon !!!

Looks like I found my Modern Arabs and Mercenaries so my first game of NEIS will be The Sultanate of Ifat V Jihadist . Over an oil pumping station. In the dark.

I went from 25mm to 15mm about 30 years ago as I hated the scale creep 25,27,28,30,32mm.

Now all my terrain and buildings can be used from ancient to modern times .

But I’m old and cheap.

While I have some PP , I like Rebel Miniatures and QRF much better. And with all the Goodness coming from QRF in a few months, we should have more choices for Infantry .

All my Vietnam figures are based for FOW and I don’t want to rebase them right now..I’m thinking either Cold War goes Hot or Mercenaries V Jihadist in the Sultanate Of Ifat*. Depending on which figures I have and how fast I can base and paint them..

* The Sultanate of Ifat is my Comic opera Imagi-Nation . Think Casablanca meets Monty Python…and Cthulhu …

Nerfing to make something less deadly A nerf brick…Soviet Tanks central control so that if any move they all move. and take a penalty to shooting.. But Soviet Infantry if you can get some across the table are deadly.

I’ve played AK 47 1ed in both 6mm and in 15mm but not 20 mm but didn’t change the ranges . I like 15mm better than 6mm. Just me, I game every thing but Naval and Air in 15mm that way all my terrain and buildings work for most time periods.

But you own the rules and can do what ever you want with them!! It’s all about the fun!!!
