Great looking table !!
kyoteblueParticipantMore French British and Germans based and primed. But I’m running out of the FOW medium bases. I have more on order at my FLGS but it could take weeks before I get them.
I should have started this project a year or so ago. I’ve also assembled two RR armored cars.
kyoteblueParticipantStill working on my Minifigs for 1914 frontier battles.
kyoteblueParticipantI have got to start painting…. Oh and my Grand Daughter wants the Belgaum Dog cart MGs.
kyoteblueParticipantI just want this site to grow and not worry about other sites.
kyoteblueParticipantI like this place.
kyoteblueParticipantGlad to see you Sam.

kyoteblueParticipantQuestion , is there a place for all AAR’s or should they go in the time period boards ????
kyoteblueParticipantMy BF Americans for Viet Nam have both a Medic and casualty figures at the Company level.
kyoteblueParticipantAh cats….My cat Fred has no interest in my figures but does like to sleep on my hills if I leave them out…
kyoteblueParticipantThe Rebel Miniatures are nice.
kyoteblueParticipantSome day soon I’ll have a painting desk again…for now it’s an old baking tray…filled with 15mm WW1 French Germans and British. I need to paint more.
kyoteblueParticipantI need to paint …a lot more…
kyoteblueParticipantGot some more British German and French based up. I should spend more time painting and less time on the computer…
kyoteblueParticipantEr not that there is any thing wrong with 6mm….oops.
kyoteblueParticipantThanks and I still want to know more about your mods !!! As like I said GWSH2 is geared for 6mm.
kyoteblueParticipantHuh, well that would work as well, I’m just painting the out lines of what I plan to do. I don’t worry so much about points as I don’t do tournaments any more (I’m old !!) Thanks for working on this with me !!!
kyoteblueParticipantI Gamed with partially painted figures this past Sunday my shame my shame….
kyoteblueParticipantAnd saw his dust for another two days….Yes Howard I think this is a very nice place.
kyoteblueParticipantI still like FOW but don’t play it straight…always thought the battle scenarios and objectives as cheesy and geared for tournaments . So I play it for fun. I’m also adapting it to The Great War.
Hey Guys !!!
kyoteblueParticipantI plan to rate the BEF as Confident Veterans for 1914 only then drop then to Confident Conscrits for 1915-16 then Confident Trained in 1917-1918. With British Bulldog all thru.
I also plan to have the Germans out number the BEF by 2 to 1 for Mons .
Wish I was a faster painter and could get more figures done.
kyoteblueParticipantThat is my Grand Daughters figure she Is Cameron Princess of Belgian with her horse and dog. She likes horses and dogs so….. no harm came to her.
kyoteblueParticipantJust doing my bit.
kyoteblueParticipantI’ve been inviting a few people over.
kyoteblueParticipantThe French arrived today !!! But I need more of the FOW medium bases. Always some damn thing.
kyoteblueParticipantIt can if you use combined arms be a good game…

kyoteblueParticipantOh and for the BEF’s mad minute (yes I know) I will give them a ROF 2 in defencive fire if unpinned or 1 if pinned but not add the plus one.
kyoteblueParticipantGreat looking game !!!! Good to see ya here Dude !!!
kyoteblueParticipantGood to see you Howard !!!
kyoteblueParticipantI’m giving the Germans Infantrie Vor for 1914 only as they had the On to Paris /Time table drilled into them. But your right about the French as well. Will add that.
13/08/2014 at 15:48 in reply to: Woo-hoo – Cold War Brits and Canucks in 15mm from QRF getting closer.. #4260kyoteblueParticipantLOL !!!
kyoteblueParticipantI would love to get some of the Lancashire figures but can’t order from overseas. I’m more interested in the Western front and Gallipoli. Doing the Frontiers battles now. Mons and The Marne later this month/year.
kyoteblueParticipantBecause of the lack of staff teams I had Arty range in each turn but made the Cav recon and they lifted gone to ground and or helped the Arty range in. I also gave all field guns firing direct fire (out to 24 inches ) Shrapnel rounds that doubled the rate of fire per gun. So the two Belgian guns and the two MG’s ( oh and went back to 0 shots if moved) did most of the killing. I also gave the Belgian’s two forts as the fight was around Liege with staff teams but the Germans with Infantrie Vor ( Kinda like Avanta) kept moving up. So the Arty had to keep ranging in each turn.
In the end there were just too many Germans for the Belgians to stop.
kyoteblueParticipanthey Dude.

kyoteblueParticipantGot a 24 pack of Minifigs French Inf. in yesterday and should receive more in the next day or so. By the time I get them painted QRF and TSS should be back from vacation and I can order more thru Scale Creep Miniatures.
I need to base up more British and German Inf.so that I can try to do part of Mons in two weeks.
More later.
kyoteblueParticipantKinda big and echoey in here for now but who knows if it don’t fill up …
