    Yeah I guess.
I mean if you are trying to be true to an authors work then painting hobbits orange would be wrong to Middle Earth but could be very right for your own setting.
No reason you cant your romansn in pink and grey if you like but dont be saying they are authentic romans.

whatever makes you happy though eh?

But I’ve been waiting nine months now

Not likely, it has only been online for 4 and half months.

    b) a place to discuss historical wargaming

So why did you post stuff about sports and moan when Mike deleted it, if you want to talk about historical wargaming?

They do look pretty godo actually.
WSF as you note is very poor, like sand and grit with wood glue.
FUD is mich better but still has printed lines, these however lkook quite good.

I’m merely suggesting how Mike might improve the experience here for historical wargamers

The experience might be improved if people read the message, saw the word period was used and answred the question rather than moaning about it?

We don’t have ‘genres’, we have periods.

He did say periods in the actual message:

Anyway, it would be interesting if you would all list your current genres/periods.

Everyone else seems to be ok with it.

Oops sorry, I play CCGs and Boardgames only, any genre that takes my fancy.

I have toyed with the idea that Pearl Harbour was orcehstrated by Churchill as he was annoyed at the US dragging their heels getting into the conflict.
But after teh war was all done as it actually happened, the US found out and then all hell broke lose.
The loss of so many people however meant that hostilities started as a naval blockade across the Atlantic and then slowly develoiped into a proper war.

So, if you want to encourage like minded people to come to your blog and leave constructive criticsism how do you promote that blog?
Good Google keywords, word of mouth, is there some bloggers network thing?
    Links to other blogs?

It appears though that I totally misunderstood the purpose of The Wargames Website, silly me thought it was going to be about wargaming.

If you thought it was about wargaming, why post about Rugby and Music?
