Since the last crowdfunding campaign was a pretty good success, we're going to try our hands at it again, this time with "Hammer of Democracy" - A full WW2 conversion of the Squad Hammer/Trench Hammer/Winter Hammer/October Hammer miniatures rules.
The goal is a big, beefy book covering pretty much everything you could want from weather rules to army generators to mission creation, all powered by the super-fast, negotiation-driven Squad Hammer engine.
Whether you are a hardened WW2 gamer eager for something new and less bogged down in detail, a new player curious about getting into WW2 action or even a complete newbie to miniatures game, we'll have you covered.
Why do we need a big chunk of money? Because this is going to be a big chunk of gaming book.
The goal is to do one of those big complete books, where you don't have to wait around for supplements and pay extra money just to play the army you'd like.
We're going to go all out instead.
If you are curious about the system, you can read this mechanics demo by the co-author of Trench Hammer
HERE
And if you want to go throw down some money for something that'll make you happy, you can do so right here:

Is this going to be available through Wargames Vault?

Yeah, the final release will be available normally.

Ivan,
Do the larger artillery support amounts get anything in addition to a set of the rules?

OK, sussed them out. I usually avoid crowdfunders like the plague!
Tempted by these rules though. Ponder, ponder…….

I have never done a crowd funder ever, but I know Ivan is a pro with a good track record and he has a reasonable plan in the unlikely event he fails to deliver. Give it a try!

Well, I attempted to back it……. but indiegogo wouldn’t accept my name or email address and I refuse to join fbook to join indiegogo! So, sorry Ivan, I’ll have to wait until it gets into the Wargames vault.

#oh No… I am a long time Facebook hater myself, and I have never done Indegogo before, but you can get an account without Facebook, thank goodness.
Go to: https://www.indiegogo.com/accounts/sign_up?return_to=%2F
Use the section in the middle to create an account and skip all the Facebook nonsense. Or wait for the rules to appears in all their glory on Wargames Vault. Either way, what theater are you looking at doing?

#JozisTinMan, I’ll give it a try, thanks for the link. Italy and Eastern Front will be the main ones with an occasional sidestep to France 44. I’ve shelved WW2 for the moment due to a lack of a ruleset that was quick and gave a good game in addition to everyone agreeing on it.

Sounds great, I don’t see enough games set in Italy, it should provide a lot of scope for platoon to Company sized actions.
Good luck, I play mostly solo, so I don’t have to get a lot of consensus. I have been a member of a fairly large club before and know how important that can be.
Now we wait for Ivan to come out of the laboratory.

Sorry the website is giving you a hard time.
But as mentioned, if all else fails, we will be on the Vault as normal once it’s the final version, so nobody has to miss out 🙂
Eastern Front and 1940 France is my usual jam personally, but I’ve wanted to get into Italy and North Africa pretty badly.

Ivan,
I think I’ve got it sussed now. I’ll back the rules later today. looking forward to them.
JozisTinMan,
We had some good games years ago with BKC (1) but BKC2 was not popular….. Never be a “clubber”, we are just half a dozen “older” blokes who game up in my wargames room. A good game, a few beers and a good laugh. “Yer canna wack it…”

Backed it.
